Cone boxes: carrying cones upright and protected
A customer ordering several cones cannot carry them by hand, and in delivery a cone has to arrive without tipping over or being crushed. The cone box is made for exactly this: it holds cones upright, keeps them apart, and every face of the box is another print surface for your brand. In this guide we explain how cone boxes are built, share design tips and walk through ordering.

What does a cone box do?
A cone box is a paperboard box in which cones stand upright, so they do not tip over in transit. Gepako's cone boxes come in options that hold different numbers of cones; the available options are listed on the product page. The box is used for multi-cone orders from the shop, for birthday and celebration orders, and for delivery.
The box is not only a carrier; it is also the largest printed surface that leaves your shop. Customers take it home, to the office or to a party, and the brand on the box is seen there too.
Material and printing
Cone boxes are offset printed on bristol board and finished with gloss lamination. The lamination protects the box against moisture and scuffing and keeps colours vivid. Printing is done in Gepako's own facility, so the colours of the box come off the same press as the cone sleeves in the same order and match them.
Design tips
A box has several faces and they are never all visible at once. Put the main logo on the widest front face; on the sides, a smaller logo, your social media handle or a short slogan is enough. Avoid text or thin lines on the edges where the box folds and is glued; a background colour or pattern works better there.
Choosing a box colour that matches your cone sleeve gives customers who see both a consistent brand impression. No designer? Send your logo and brand colours; our team prepares the layout and sends it to you as a proof.
Proof and ordering
When the design is ready you receive an order tracking link; on that page you see the proof, approve it or request changes. If you order cone boxes together with cone sleeves, a set proof lets you approve the layout of both at once. Before printing you can try the box with your logo in 3D on the See Your Logo page.
Box options, carton quantity and minimum order are kept up to date on the product page. For a price, select the cone box in the Quick Quote form and enter an approximate quantity; if you do not know it yet, leave it blank and it will be settled in your quote.
